Soon soon soon

Getting so excited, I have named the expectant puppies Kargugey kids (mom and dads name combined in a mashed up way)
Anyways, the Kargugeys are trying to bust their way out the sides as mommas milk has started coming in, they must be hungry little buggers. Momma is starting to get uncomfortable and restless and is insistant on digging a giant hole by a tree that was blown down and the roots are sticking out of the ground. I keep telling her she does not need to build herself a den, as we built her one in the house (far more comfortable for the Kargugey kids)
The countdown is on, its now a matter of days as apposed to weeks.
Cant wait to meet the wee ones.

A new horse

I am starting to take over as the boarder with the most horses at the barn now ( its a tie I believe)
This big guy however is going to be my newest addition.
He's a 16 year old school horse who just cant jump as much as he is needed to for lessons anymore.
I am getting him picked up on sunday and driven up to the north.
Meet Calvin

He's a huge boy, and wont be jumping with me thats for sure, although he does look wonderful doing it.

HERE I AM.... Rock you like a hurricane!

Yup, i woke up with that song in my head this morning... odd choice of muzak to have in ones head at 5 am but it got me going... all the way to my coffee pot which had just finished brewing me a scrumdilly-umcious cup o joe.
It was a great morning, no "accidents" from the doglets, everyone woke up on time to go out for their pee's and what nots.
However when I stepped outside and saw the frost on the car I had a quick little debate in my head.
I said to myself "Self... its supposed to snow tomorrow and Thursday so you may only really have today to drive the car and it may be parked for good sooner than you know" So me and myself decided to take Tibby.

BAD CHOICE!

My Bologna skin tires are NO GOOD on slippery roads. I went sideways on the deadly bridge between me and Hwy 17, then when I tried to leave the intersection at the LCBO I just spun and spun until I had melted down the black ice and proceeded to tear off across the highway. Thankfully no one was coming. After that I decided 70kms/h was a good speed. I bet all those people whom I normally blow past in the morning were laughing at me this morning. Or cursing, I'm not sure.

Oh well... Time to park my bearing grinding Tibby sooner than anticipated.
Tomorrow morning, I will be rockin ye old useless Ford (Guys truck)as ,my GM (the real truck) is at the garage for pre winter maintenance, what do you expect from a truck with over 390 000 (no that is no typo)kms on it.

Nuff 'bout cars and trucks though.

Counting down the days of November for 3 reasons!
Reason #1- Lady Gaga in TO (woot woot)
Reason #2- Miss Karma is going to be having some babies :OD
Reason #3- Christmas is just around the corner!! YAY

Those reasons were not in order of importance but rather in order of occurrence.

Can't hardly wait to meet the wee baby TM's. ( well as wee as a TM could be lol)

I have more to blog about but will have to continue later on. I have some "things" I must tend to

Hope you all are good, and to my blogging followers I will be heading on over to your blogs to see how you have all been doing.

Now little punk you look like a fool

Well every night after work this same little silver sunfire (sunflower) and I meet up at pretty much the same spot and everyday he slows right down just before the passing lane and then when we hit it and I attempt to pass he guns it and tries to race. Up until today I have just let him speed off thinking he is all cool with his car full of little buddies.
Today I sorta had enough lol.
First off.. buddy its a Sunflower, why are you even trying? Not that my car is a bigger motor by much or that it is the fastest most powerful one out there but seriously. I would never pull up to a Camaro, Mustang or even a new Accord, but come on a SUNFLOWER!!!
So anyways like every other day I pull up to pass him and he starts speeding up... fine... so do I, now we're going approx 120 km/h side by side and he is grinning from ear to ear and chatting up with his little buddies ( these guys are early 20's) so,... zedder decides to end this here and now drop it into 5th gear and step on it, now at 120 dropping from 6th to 5th sends my RPMS well into the 6000's which is just where my car in particular really takes off, I don't even think he realized I had totally kicked his ass until the end of the passing lane when he was all of a sudden behind me LOL. Loser, he rode my ass for a little while once I slowed down to a speed that would not get my car impounded (stupid Ontario street racing or stunt driving law) so I did it again lol, at 110kms/h dropped down again and took off... thats the last time he bothered catching up.
Wonder what his conversations were like in that car afterwards.
Well thats all for now. Sorry for not having anything else interesting to say right now but do have another blog worthy rant and I will leave myself a reminder right here about it (note to self, blog about one uppers)
Take care everyone

My near psychosis in Sudbury

MAN
Leave that city for a few months and then try to drive through it during full blown construction with a manual trans. car... 'nuff to make anyone go mad.

Here's a few hints morons.

1) When the light turns green... GO Feck, there is no need to wait until the person ahead of you goes all the way through the intersection before you can start.

2) Get off my ass... some cars and trucks are standard, they roll a slight bit on hills, you're just going to wait until i get through the light before going anyways so why must you rub your cars front bumper on my cars sexay little rear?

3) Once you are through the light remember I may have to still change gears, there is no need for you to be flying up on me and then panic and drive on the shoulder because I quickly shifted into 5th or 6th losing a very small amount of forward momentum for a split second.

4) Its easier to see where you're going when you are looking in front of you. No need to look over at me weird while you are driving side by side with me. Yes my car is fast and if you read tip number 5 you'll see what my next tip is.

5) You drive beside me long enough gawking I have no choice but to speed the F up to get away... there is no need to be hogging up the faster lane to gawk, now people are cutting in my lane from behind you... this can cause an accident

6) the lane to the far right is for YOU... Mr/Miss/Mrs under the speed limit driver, get the hell out of the left one.

7) Tim Hortons has not moved, you know its there... you prolly go there every day, I don't see why you are shocked that the entrance is right there and must now slam on your brakes.

8) In drive through, STOP ORDERING SAMMICHES, I can't stress this enough, now there is traffic lined up to the highway because you had to sit there and order sammiches in drive through. We just want coffee, GO IN FOR FOOD that has prep time ( and don't even think of blaming it on your sorry minivan carting kids... there are NONE in it, remember you were just driving beside me gawking at me, I know you're alone in there.

If any of you non locals come up here, here's a few tips for Sudbury driving.

1) stop 5 kms before you enter sudbury, take the rules of the road book and throw that motha in the ditch, nothing in there will apply here.

2) Forget everything you ever learned about proper driving, you try that shit around there and you're bound to be sitting on the Kingsway looking at your accordion of a vehicle explaining to the cops you only slowed down because the light was yellow and knew it was time to stop.

3) Signal lights are only used as a decoration since apparently Sudburians like blinking lights that have no meaning. Don't think just because the right blinker is on that the person operating this vehicle is turning anytime soon... They just need the ticking noise to keep them sane.

4)Don't bother using your signal light either, if you put it on and actually turn you may cause more of an accident than if you just slam on your brakes and barrel over the curb into the parking lot of your choice.

Gah... i hate driving in Sudbury lately

Some pics

As promised here are some pics of Gugey
He's definitely a handsome boy, 4.5 years old

And a sample of what he produces, pup from a previous breeding to Gugey to a Black and Tan female.

Most recent Karma pics.

So far things are looking quite promising, I have had reports back that they have tied 4 times in the past 2 days and are just loving each other, they spend more time playing than anything else.
Also, apparently Karma prefers missionary lol... for some reason during a tie she lays down and takes a snooze... Poor Gugey, that's gotta be hard on his ego

Well... pitter patter of puppy paws?

After much discussion with a couple breeders, hmmmming and haaaaing... Countless hours of running to vets for tests, taking time off work, driving for 3+ hours straight to make appointments and waiting for results, not to mention Karma springing a heat cycle on me a few weeks earlier than anticipated and progesterone tests coming back with out to lunch results compared to cytology results and so on.
Karma is up at her breeders as I type.
Which sucks on a few levels.
First off, I feel like I just gave her away.
Second, I'm SOOO tired, woke up Monday morning went to work for 7 am... went to Blind River ( 2.5 hour trip one way) to get my work truck, drove it back and worked the rest of my 10 hour day, returned home and drove up to breeders ( 3 hour trip one way) chit chatted and discussed the final plans for 45 minutes or so and returned home at 1:30 in AM to go to sleep and get up for work 4 hours later.
Up until this morning I still had no news on Karma's Brucellosis results but both the breeder and I felt that it was wisest to have her up there and wait on word of the results.

9:07 this morning, test results were in, vet called my cell phone... Karma is negative!

This is what I now know about my dog.
-She has no signs of Hip or Elbow displaysia according to OVC ( yes I know OFA is a far better rating system, but forgive me for using Canadian, Ontario on top of that for those results)
-She is CERF ( Canine Eye Registry Foundation) clear... no signs of eye problems ( but is due to be retested this fall again as it is a yearly test),
-her thyroid is normal, thyroglobulin antibodies are negative,
- at day 6 of her heat cycle her progesterone tested at 8.5ng/ml which loosely translates to her being in standing heat, or should be bred that day or the next, however
-her cytology on day 9 shows that she has only 20% cornified cells meaning that she is not ready yet???? Science. Can't rely solely on it.
-Brucellosis negative as of Friday that just passed.

Translates to... a good deal of money spent ( $1 815 to be precise)not to mention time off work and GAS for driving around, in the end, worth it!

Which brings me to another point.
I have also learned that my car choice is not a good vehicle for what I am doing so I will have to break down and buy a mini van soon enough ( Golly Swell, settle down, I'm not looking for one right now, if I was I would definitely buy yours lol)however, my car can get me to these appointments and such in a good speedy time *thumbs up for the Tuscany*

I will keep you posted on what happens next. The stud chosen for Karma is a handsome fella too, he has a great rear to hopefully strengthen hers.
I will get some pics up of him, and a newer one of her but tomorrow.

Thats all for now...
I really need to sleep

Take care everyone
